Super Scoots Acquires Assets of Vig Scooters

In late June, after discussing a partnership with our BC-based competitor Vig Scooters, we made a deal to acquire all their assets. Vig would exit the market for several reasons, and Super Scoots would benefit not only from having one less competitor, but by harnessing Vig’s current inventory (they were also a Teverun distributor), e-commerce systems and well-developed marketing and support processes.

The additional inventory will start arriving in early July, and we’ve already begun incorporating much of their intellectual property into the foundation of a new website that is being designed and built by the same company that built the Vig Scooters website. Look for our new site with many new features, improved navigation and hundreds of new products within the next few weeks.

Like us, Vig was very focused on customer support, and we’ll also be incorporating several systems and processes into our own to enhance the way we support our customers ever more.

With the acquisition of Vig’s sales and inventory systems Super Scoots will strengthen our own already robust relationship with Teverun, gaining early access to state-of-the-art products that offer riders exceptional performance, reliability, and thrilling experiences.
