Details

This limited warranty covers all defects in material and workmanship of the Teverun electric scooter arising or occurring as a result of your normal and ordinary use of the product. This limited warranty is applicable under the following terms and conditions:

  • This limited warranty extends to the original purchaser (name listed on the shipping address) of the product only, beginning on the date of purchase of the product. An original purchase receipt is required to proceed with warranty repairs.
  • The warranty is non-transferable and applies to the extent permitted by law and unless restricted or prohibited by law.

This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective items and said repair and replacements are the sole remedies of the warranty.

Items damaged due to normal wear and tear (such as flat tires, worn brakes, joints loosening), are not covered under this warranty. However, parts can be purchased directly from our website in these situations.

Super Scoots reserves the right to determine eligibility of products for warranty claim. Claims for manufacturing defects of parts will be solely determined by Super Scoots’ professional technicians. Claims may be denied if damages reported are not manufacturing defects but due to misuse and/or improper care.

In virtually all cases, warranty claims require a video demonstration and walk-through, either recorded or live (or both), so our engineers fully understand the issue.

Super Scoots reserves the right to deny or void any new or existing warranty claims if Super Scoots has provided 4 or more complimentary replacement parts/repairs during the first twelve months of ownership and has provided reasonable care to the customer throughout the warranty coverage period.

Super Scoots does not warrant the operation of the Product will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Customer Responsibility

As the device’s owner, you are responsible for the performance and maintenance of your device. You may be denied a warranty claim if routine maintenance cannot be determined. In particular, you may be denied warranty coverage if the product or a component has failed due to abuse, neglect, improper maintenance, or unapproved modifications.

Routine maintenance includes but is not limited to checking and replacing brake pads, brake rotors, tires, inner tubes (when applicable), tightening and/or replacing screws, proper charging and storage, and so on. Some of these component parts should be routinely checked and replaced based on the owner’s usage and are not constructed or intended to last the lifetime of the device.

If the customer is required to ship the product to Super Scoots or an authorized service centre for repairs, then the customer is responsible for all costs to ship the product to the service centre. Products must be shipped in either the original packaging, or suitable replacement packaging that will keep the product from being further damaged during shipping. All risk of loss, theft or damage is the responsibility of the customer. We encourage all customers to retain all original packaging the product can be transported to the authorized service centre via car or other means (pickup/drop-off service may be available).

Obtaining Warranty Service

To file a warranty claim, create a support ticket on the Customer Service portal. Attach relevant videos, images and order information. It is important to be as detailed as possible. Videos/Images are MANDATORY if requested. Failure to provide requested supporting documentation may lead to a denied warranty claim.

For each warranty service request, the customer is responsible for all packaging and shipping costs associated with sending the product to an authorized service centre. The limited warranty covers the one-way return shipping cost on all approved warranty services.

An authorized service technician will conduct an inspection of your product. If they determine that the problem is not covered under the limited warranty, Super Scoots will notify you and inform you of service or replacement alternatives that are available to you on a fee basis.

If your claim is not approved or is deemed as non-warranty then two-way shipping is charged to the customer along with fees and cost of labor and parts, subject to the provisions detailed above.

Lithium Ion Batteries

Lithium-ion battery packs are consumable products that can lose charge capacity over time. Defective batteries are rare, but they are covered under warranty. Receiving a defective battery would usually mean it cannot be charged or operated inside the scooter.

Because charge capacity of batteries diminishes over time, this warranty does not cover the gradual degradation of the battery. The battery is considered normal and not defective if it still holds 75% of a full charge (as measured at the factory) within the first year.

Warranty is Non-Transferable and Non-Renewable

This Limited Warranty extends to the original purchaser (name listed on the shipping address) of the poduct only.

Limitations of Liability

The remedies described above are your sole and exclusive remedies and our entire liability for any breach of this limited warranty. Our liability shall under no circumstances exceed the actual amount paid by you for the defective product, nor shall we under any circumstances be liable for any consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages or losses, whether direct or indirect.
